To achieve personal and professional success, apply these simple health tips that will help you for better health and also improve your physical and mental state.
1. Physical:
Make sure to do some physical exercise every day which improves your physical health. Experts advise, instead of spending two hours watching TV or checking your social media, you could take a 20-minute walk or exercise. One option is to walk or use a bicycle instead of the car to go to the supermarket, or take the stairs instead of using the elevator.
These types of habits, in addition to keeping you healthy, will help you be more punctual and better comply with your schedules.
2. Emotional:
It is vital that you use your emotional energy prudently. The ways in which we can spend and waste this energy are diverse and appear to us on a day-to-day basis such as traffic, delivery dates, and difficult people. Therefore, you should try to surround yourself with people who inspire you and improve your mood and not those who depress you or make you feel bad.
For example, if a radio host bothers you, don’t listen to him. You must learn to identify bad influences and try to get rid of them.
3. Mental:
The mind is like a muscle so it also needs to exercise. Try to learn something new every day. It doesn’t matter if it’s something small or something big. It can be anything from someone’s name to a story you’ve always wanted to learn or a musical instrument you’ve always wanted to play.
The famous American writer Philip Roth recently bought an iPhone. “Every morning I study a chapter of iPhone for Dummies,” he said. “And now I am competent in its use.” And this was said by a man who won the Pulitzer Prize!
4. Spiritual:
Try to get in touch with that “spirituality”, however, you perceive it. You do not need to meditate for 3 hours daily, or go to the top of a mountain or pray to a god or your idea of god. You only need to connect with that something bigger than yourself for a few minutes a day. It can be admiring nature or doing a humanitarian act.
One of the best ways to practice this habit is to say thank you daily. Choose the things in your life that you are grateful for, especially those that you take for granted. The most effective word to do it: Thank you. When you do this, you will notice that you can reconnect with the source from whom you receive it.
5. Interpersonal:
We call this the “daily search.” It may be someone who has been on our mind recently or an old friend we owe an email to. It costs us nothing to make a call, write a paragraph or send a tweet and this tells that someone “I was thinking of you”. You can add value by giving something away.
No one can do everything alone. You need other people as other people need you too. Do this “daily search”, you will be surprised at the results.
