FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Functional fitness means training your body for everyday activities, and to make daily motion easier and safer. These classes use a variety of movements, with intensity, such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting.
HITT
A training technique in which you give all-out 100% effort through quick intense bursts of exercise followed by short sometimes active recovery periods. A HIIT workout class gets and keeps your heart rate up & burns more fat in less time.
BARBELL
A barbell workout that incorporates functional orthopedic strength training.
REV & BURN
Cardio style session with 20-30 seconds of work with 10 seconds rest in circuit style, with spin bikes. Every moment guarantees to challenge you, while keeping the heart rate ticking over.
MORNING BURN
Cross training class that will move you through intervals of cardio and weight resistance.
VINYASA YOGA
Derived from the Sanskrit word “yuji,” meaning yoke or union, yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body. It incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and poses designed to encourage relaxation and reduce stress. Yoga also improves strength, balance and flexibility.
PILATES
Works on the core stabilizing muscles of the body. Pilates helps strengthen and tone the entire body and is one of the most effective forms of exercise to change the body shape and create tone. Pilates also looks at muscle imbalance and aims to strengthen any muscle which may be weak and stretch any muscles which may be tight.
REFORMER PILATES
The Reformer offers overall strength, flexibility coordination and balance. These thing in turn lead to daily life improvements like better posture, efficient movement, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances such as back pain.
RESTORATIVE PILATES
Has the goal of returning your body back to “Normal Health”. This is done by retraining the fundamental movement patterns we need in our body to properly connect the diaphragm, pelvic floor and core to assist restore a more functional & efficient body.
YIN YOGA
Works on the yin tissues also known as connective tissues which respond best to a slow, steady load. Yin poses are held between 3 – 5 minutes in a class allowing the muscles and connective tissue to stretch and stimulate the production of synovial fluids in the joints whilst releasing the fascia throughout the body.
